3262. A little lemonade?

Quite a number of Fairy Godmothers are not cracked up to be what people expect. Grimdidlio was Ascendia’s Fairy Godmother, and to put it nicely she was horrible. Horrid! Horrid! Horrid!

Of course Grimdidlio always pretended to be nice when she appeared from nowhere. She made out that she had come to help, but more often than not she had come to meddle.

Ascendia had had enough. She decided she would poison her Fairy Godmother. To poison somebody one needs poison, and that’s when Grimdidlio made an appearance.

“You want to make poison, Ascendia?” asked Grimdidlio. “Let me help.”

Grimdidlio began whipping up a concoction of chemicals. “This is a potent strain of poison,” she said. “The victim will squirm with pain and start eating their feet. Unwashed. Uncooked. Then they strangle themselves to death with their hair, and if their hair is not long enough they writhe in pain until it grows long enough.”

Well pleased with herself, Grimdidlio said she needed a drink to celebrate.

“Perhaps you would like a little lemonade?” suggested Ascendia.

“Are you having one too?” asked Grimdidlio.
